Mr. James M. Tietze, 66, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, October 3, 2024, in Springfield.
James Martin Tietze was born on Friday, June 13, 1958, in Texas to Frances and Ruth Tietze.
Early in life, the family moved from Texas to Lebanon, Missouri. After graduating from high school, James went to work for Empire Foods and retired with them after thirty-two years. In 1996, James met Gyneanna Roy, and they were married in 1999 in Springfield, Missouri.
James was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed watching golf and taking Gyneanna out to dinner most Friday nights. Most of all he loved reading his Bible and walking with the Lord.
James is survived by his wife, Gyneanna of Springfield, MO; one son, Donald McGhee; seven grandchildren, Lashonda, Shawn, Nicky, Christian, Cody, Hunter and Penney Ann; four great-grandchildren, Zaden, Zyanna, Payton and Anthony; three sisters, Mary, Karen and Janelle; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joe Tietze.
Graveside Services will be at 3:00 P.M. Friday, October 11, 2024, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Scotty Killingsworth officiating. Condolences may be made at klingnerfuneralhome.com.
