James Watkins Obituary

James Allen "Chunk" Watkins, age 51, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021. He was born in Erie on May 17, 1970, son of the late Charles and Marilyn Watkins.
Chunk worked and taught at World of Music. He was the drummer of the band "Chunk", then later on "The Geek Army". He won many awards for "Best Drummer" at the Rock Erie Awards.
"Jim was Jim and no one was going to tell him what to do or change him"; but he would do anything for you.
Chunk is survived by one son, Nicholas Watkins and his mother, Carrie Davison; two sisters, Cindy Snow and Katie Watkins; two brothers, Charles Watkins Jr. (Christine) and David Watkins (Kimberly); dear friend, Jocelyn Taylor; and nieces and nephews, Amanda George, Megan Lofton, Abby Watkins, Ryan, Tina and Eric Watkins, and Jason and Christopher Snow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Cathy Watkins; and one brother-in-law, Larry Snow.
Friends are invited to gather at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Saturday from 2 pm until 4 pm.
