James H. Weeks, 57, of Anderson, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at his home.
He was born on October 4, 1967, in Anderson, Indiana to Anthony H. and Lynn (Ford) Weeks. James was a 1987 graduate of Lapel High School and went on to earn his associate's degree from Lincoln Tech as a master technician.
He owned and operated Weeks Automotive in Anderson. He enjoyed fishing and loved the outdoors. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
James is survived by his wife, Stacy (Johnson) Weeks; his parents, Anthony and Lynn Weeks; two sons, Cameron (wife, Ashley) Weeks and Shelby (wife, Natalie) Weeks; three grandchildren, Jude, Ziggy and Porter; a brother, Tim (wife, Elle) Weeks; his father-in-law, Rich Ligman; father-in-law, Jeff (wife, Lisa) Johnson; brother-in-law, Todd (wife, Wendi) Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Edward Weeks and his mother-in-law, Shirley Ligman.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051 with Tim Gill officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
