James White, III departed this life at his residence on Friday, November 24, 2023, at the age of 74. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA. James was a former employee of Avondale Shipyard. Beloved son of the late James White, II and Mary Alice Porter Williams. Grandson of the late Isaiah Porter and Ella Batiste. He was preceded in death by several siblings. Also cherishing his memories are 5 sisters, 2 brothers, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Salvation Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Salvation Baptist Church, 212 Marrero Avenue, Bridge City, LA on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Richard Williams, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Will be Private.
