Jamie Kemper Obituary

Services will be held at Peaks Mill Christian Church on Friday, December 5, 2025. Visitation will be from 9:00–11:00 a.m., with the funeral services to follow.
Jamie leaves behind her beloved children, Chloé Hammond (Evan Pasley) and Noah Hammond, who were the greatest treasures of her life. She is also survived by her parents, James Kemper Jr. and Jeannie Mefford-Kemper, her brother Jesse Kemper (Gabrielle Kemper), her niece and nephew, her fiancé Russell Lynn, and a multitude of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, William 'Billy' Mefford, Dorothy Karsner-Mefford, James 'Boss' Kemper, Audrey Rudder-Kemper, and her two infant sons, Landon Tyler Hammond and Christian Elijah Hammond.
Jamie was a graduate of Franklin County High School class of '93 and a lifelong member of Peaks Mill Christian Church. Jamie was known for her beautiful smile, her warm heart, and a singing voice that could brighten any room. She had a lifelong love of sports and the outdoors. She had a kind spirit and her presence will be deeply missed.
Jamie's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
We want to thank the staff of Owenton Healthcare and Rehabilitation for their professionalism in caring for Jamie. We so appreciate the love and kindness Jamie received from the staff during her time there. Also we want thank St. Elizabeth Healthcare Hospice for being with Jamie and the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Owenton Center Resident Council Fund, Owenton Healthcare and Rehabilitation, 905 US-127, Owenton, KY, 40359
There will be a meal provided at the church following the funeral service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory.
