Jamie R. Putnam
Bay City, MI
Our beloved wife, mother and sister, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at McLaren Bay Region. Age 59.
Jamie was born on October 8, 1965, in Darmstadt, Germany, to Kenneth J. Putnam and Judy Marie (Droptiny). She was baptized at St. James Catholic Church and maintained her Christian faith throughout her life.
Jamie graduated from TL Handy High School and earned her bachelor's degree in English from Saginaw Valley State University. She was a talented artist, creating beautiful beaded and knitted items as a hobby. Jamie was always a happy person who enjoyed seeing people, loved to talk, chat, and meet new friends. Her joyful spirit and love for connecting with others will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband David J. Cozatt, whom Jamie married in 2003, one daughter Tiffany Marie Cozatt, her mother and step father Judy (Rodney) Valliere, three sisters; Amanda (Craig) Goulet, Teresa (Preston) Woodby and Barbie (Mark) McInerney, two brothers; Craig (Sarah) Valliere and Rodney Paul Valliere. Jamie was predeceased by her father Kenneth Putnam.
A Celebration of Jamie's life is being planned for later in the spring. Those planning expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial donations to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
Jamie's cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Squires Funeral Home of Bay City.
