Jamin Broadbent Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jamin William Broadbent, aged 50, on March 31, 2025. He departed this life peacefully at his home in Roy, UT.
Born on March 11, 1975 in Ogden, Utah, Jamin was the beloved son of Kathleen Prevedel and Billy Broadbent. "Jay-Man" as many referred to him, spent his life inspiring those around him with his kindness and humor. Jamin had a unique gift of loving and protecting those around him. Jamin was also always up for a good time and a good laugh. He could make anyone feel welcome with open arms.
Jamin grew up in South Ogden where he attended South Ogden Jr. High School and graduated from Bonneville High School in 1993.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Broadbent of Roy, daughter Alexis (Tanner) Jo Ensign and grandsons Keelan and Khylar of Rock Springs, WY, mother Kathleen (Scott) Prevedel of West Haven, UT, brother Jack (Natalie) Broadbent of Syracuse, UT, who will cherish his memory and carry his legacy forward. Jamin is preceded in death by his father Billy Broadbent, beloved stepfather Joe Gallegos and grandparents Jack and Cora Kelliher and Hugh and Barbara Broadbent.
Jamin will forever be missed and live on in the hearts of those he touched and will always be loved. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
