Jan was born December 30, 1947, in rural Bristow, daughter of John and Jennie (Fecht) Buseman. She graduated from Dumont High School, class of 1966. Jan then graduated from LaJames College & Beauty School in Mason City. She owned and operated her own hair salon, "Jan's Hair Care" in Dumont. On August 31, 1984, Jan was united in marriage to William Richard Reysack in Dumont. She was a member of Dumont Reformed Church and enjoyed watching TV and trips to Branson, Missouri.
Jan is survived by her husband Bill Reysack of Dumont; daughter Jodi (Mark) Bangasser of Allison; son Brad (Gail) Johnson of Greenfield; son Jeremiah Johnson of Anamosa; stepdaughter Suzanne Orwall of West St. Paul, Minnesota; stepson Justin Reysack of Florida; sisters Kathleen Pralle of Hampton and Alvina Voss of Grundy Center; brother Lenis Buseman of Charles City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Marion Pralle and brother Albert Buseman.
