Jane "Lady" Buccheri

Lady Jane" Bazzano (Falletti) Buccheri, 101, of Wethersfield, passed away August 11, 2024 at home. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Nicholas and Rose (Ierna) Bazzano. Jane was a graduate of Weaver High School after which she worked at Sage-Allen as a bookkeeper and later as a Secretary at St. Francis Hospital. Jane was great with numbers and took accounting classes and graduated top of her class. She was the best cook and baker and loved knitting, crocheting, tatting and many other crafts. Jane loved playing cards, shopping, clothes, shoes, music and entertaining at Old Colony Beach in Old Lyme. She especially loved her family deeply and welcomed everyone to her home.
Jane will be greatly missed by her children, John Buccheri of Waterford, Paul Buccheri and his wife Linda of Rocky Hill, Paula Buccheri of South Carolina, her grandchildren, Harry M. Reiter Buccheri and his wife Leslie of Texas, John S. Buccheri and his wife Gretchen of Cheshire, Anthony Buccheri of South Windsor, Philip Buccheri of Manchester, Sara Buccheri of Maine, J.P. Valenti of Georgia and Paul Buccheri and his wife Laura of Rocky Hill and Joseph Buccheri of Rocky Hill. She also leaves her great grandchildren, Kimmy and Jeana Reiter, Lily and Gavin Reeves, P.J. Buccheri, Josephine and Sophia Buccheri and Nino and Renata Buccheri. She was predeceased by a son Eugene Buccheri of South Carolina.

A Memorial Service celebrating Lady Jane's life will be held on Tuesday August 20, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield.
