Jane Maree (Lobdell) Fraley, 71, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, in American Fork, Utah after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.
Jane was born in Kendallville, Indiana on November 5th, 1953. She was the fourth child born to Lois Johnson and William Lobdell, and the first child of theirs to live beyond infancy.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother. She is survived by her loving husband, Martin Fraley; her children Blaine (Raquel) Jacob, and Erin (Ryan) Hunter, both of Utah; her sisters, Rebecca Mumma and Laura Lobdell, both of Indiana, and her brother, Thomas Lobdell of Arizona.
She was a proud grandmother to many grandchildren - Cade (Abigail) and Bailey Jacob; Dylan (Aselin), Logan, Mason, JoceLynn, Addison Jane, Keaton, and Hansen Hunter-and one cherished great granddaughter, Melody.
Jane devoted 38 years of her career to Colwell General. She always came home from a long shift at work covered in paint splatters. She looked forward to her Monday night bowling league, and she frequently checked out what looked to be too many books, but she always read them and returned them all on time.
Jane spent her retirement years traveling with her husband before settling down in Utah to be near her children and grandchildren.
Interment will be at American Fork Cemetery, following a small graveside service.
Jane donated blood as often as she was allowed to do so until she got too sick and relied on the generous donations of others. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating blood when and where you are able.
