JANE ANN WALTER
Indianapolis, IN. – Jane Ann Walter, 73, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She lived in Indianapolis all of her life.
Jane was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on May 31, 1952 to the late Carl and Daisy (Allen) Walter.
Janie worked at H. Salt, Fish and Chips, Mayflower ARA food Service and was a manager for Burger King for 23 years until she retired in 2021. Janie loved playing Call of Duty and playing with the ponies and her fur babies. She was a good friend and partner, she never met a stranger.
Janie is survived by her wife Laurel Lynn Capshaw. Janie and Lynn had been friends for 51 years and married for 32 years. Janie had several cousins and friends. Tom Barnes was more than a cousin; he was like a brother.
Services will be 1 P.M. on Monday, August 4, 2025 at Jessen Funeral Home in Whiteland, Indiana with Pastor Charlie Cash officiating. Burial will be at West Newton Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
