Dr. Janet Ann Flores

Dr. Janet Ann Flores passed away on July 17th at the age of 83. She was
preceded in death by her parents Ralph R. Richards, Matilda J. Richards,
brother R. Ronald Richards, sister Barbara M. France, first husband Leo R.
Marcoulier and second husband Henry F. Flores.
She is a graduate of Leavenworth High School in Washington State, class of
1959. She received a B.A. in Education from Seattle Pacific University and
went on for a Masters in Education when her first husband was killed in
Vietnam. She later went on to get her Doctorate from Capella University. She
taught for the D.O.D. in Europe for 16 years and ended her 48 years of
teaching as a Professor at St. Philips College until she retired at the age of
70 in 2012.

She will be laid to rest with her husband Henry of 45 years at Fort Sam
Houston National Cemetery at 2:00pm.
