Janet D. Booth [MiMi} of Galena, Ohio graduated from this life into the heavenly realm to be united with family and friends that have gone before her and to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents Isaac and Gladys (Cordle) Ross, sisters Chris and Russell Fry, Sarah and Gordon Ulery, brother Donald Ross, and several special and dear friends.
Janet is survived by the loves of her life husband Wayne, daughter Tamarena Booth, son Lance (Jennie) Booth; granddaughters: Charydin (Dannie) Hershberger, Sierah (Dustin) Eli, Brianne Booth, Lauren (Jason) Williams, Charity Frierson [and family], Esther Holman [and family]; 7 great-grandchildren: Dominick Eli [15], Wyatt Hershberger [14], Willow Hershberger [12], Skyler Eli [12], Huxley Eli [8], Lochlan Eli [6], Boone Eli [2], brother Wayne Ross, sister-in-law Nancy Ross, and many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.
Janet was a graduate of Big Walnut High School in 1962, where she met the love of her life Pastor Wayne Booth. Who fervently pursued her, they dated 4 years, and were married, June 28, 1963, [all most 63 years].
She graduated from Capital School of Beauty Culture in 1964 and worked as a beautician for 40 years as well as helping her husband run Booth's General Sales.
Janet was a breast cancer survivor of 40 years.
She was very fortunate to have been able to travel on many special vacations; Lake Cumberland, Caribbean cruise, Mexico, Acapulco, Switzerland, Hawaii, many trips to Hatteras Island and Tybee Island, and wintered in Phoenix, Arizona for 5 years. Their home away from home was the Amish country, where they made many trips, often taking grandchildren to make special memories.
She was truly a dog lover and over the years had several, and they were all special in their own ways.
Janet was a crafty lady, she was able to develop talents in many crafts; card making, stamping, jewelry making, and paper quilling, just to name a few.
Her greatest talent was her ability to love; when you had her as your friend you had a loving friend, and oh my how she loved her family, and her Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.
Janet's family will receive friends on Saturday, March 29th, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon, at Genoa Baptist Church, 7562 Lewis Center Rd., Westerville, Ohio 43082, where services giving Glory to God for Janet will follow at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, with her beloved husband Pastor Wayne Booth officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Snyder Funeral Home, DeVore Chapel in Sunbury.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Genoa Christian Academy, 7562 Lewis Center Rd., Westerville, Ohio 43082.

Pastor Wayne and Family, you continue to be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Janet while she was in the Sarah Moore house. She had never met me, but she was so friendly and invited me to stay and chat. We had a lovely visit and as described, she surely was a loving person.
