Janet Byrne Obituary
Janet Lea Byrne (nee Nowak) passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Milwaukee on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the age of 52. She was born in Waukesha on August 2, 1971, the daughter of James and Donna (nee Koeppen) Nowak. She married her devoted husband of 24 years, Yancy Byrne, on November 6, 1999, at the Kettle Moraine Evangelical Free Church in Delafield. She graduated from Waukesha North High School in 1989, and then from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1993 with a degree in Communication. For years she worked at Waukesha State Bank in many capacities completing her time there in the Mortgage department. She most recently worked at the Salt Room and Harvest Home in Pewaukee and was currently the Director of Finance and Administration at Casa La Bella in Hartland. She was a very spiritual person and active in the churches that she attended and along with her husband, led Bible studies for over 18 years. She was a faithful member of Bridge Church in Waukesha. Janet will always be remembered as an exceptional and loving mother, wife, and friend.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Yancy Byrne; children, Grant and Gavin of Waukesha, her parents James and Donna Nowak of Pewaukee, sisters, Jayne (Tom) Theriault of Hartland and Julie Nowak of Pewaukee, brother Joe (Kris) Nowak of Dousman, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. celebration of life service at RiverGlen Christian Church, S31 W30601 Sunset Dr, Waukesha, WI 53189.
