Lou Ella Wright Byrne was born on October 30th, 1936 to John Robert and Bessie Wright. She passed away on September 28th, 2025, after complications from a fall. Lou never played any sports until she learned to golf. She was fairly good at golfing until she physically became unable or Danny got tired of her beating him. Lou loved reading, basketball and football, we never sat next to her when she was watching TV, because she would beat on the unsuspecting person next to her, scream at the coaches and Referees.. Finally the doctors told her it was bad for her heart. She had to learn to watch calmly; mostly it worked.. You didn't call her on Saturday or Sunday during a game either. She had a dry sense of humor, she was one of those quietly funny people. She loved her 10 brothers and sisters dearly. She doted on her children, grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great grandchildren. She married Granville Young, Jr on October 8, 1954 from that union they had 2 daughter's Theresa and Linda and one son Robert. Lou was a stay at home mom until 1972 when she went into retail at JCPenny and eventually retired. She was preceded in death by Granville Young, Jr. She went on to marry Daniel J. Byrne, in Tucson, Az on April 20, 1985. Lou is preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband Danny, 7 of her siblings, and her daughter Linda Young. Lou is survived by her daughter Theresa Dorsey, and son Robert Young, three sisters, Pauline, Peggy and Pat. Many nieces and nephews, three grandchildren, Desiree, Emily and Chris, 6 great grandchildren, and 3 great Great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 1:00PM at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood. Services under the direction of the DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood.
