Donna Jean Mauldin

Donna Jean Mauldin of was born on October 2, 1938 to Estelle & Newt Elmore in Erin Springs, Oklahoma. She went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 9, 2025 surrounded by her beloved family. Donna grew up and graduated from Lindsay High School. She later met Leon Mauldin and they married in Wynnewood on March 8, 1958. He preceded her in death in 1997. She had worked at the bank and at the treasures office. She was a long-time member of the Church of Christ in Wynnewood.
Donna was a woman whose love knew no bounds and who shared that love most profoundly through her cooking. Her kitchen was the heart of the home-a place where generations gathered, stories were shared, and meals were served with warmth and care. Whether it was Sunday dinners, holiday feasts, or a simple dish made with heart, Donna's food nourished more than just the body-it brought comfort and connection to all who sat at her table.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband; sister Lena Mae Stewart; brothers John & James Elmore and Newt Elmore Jr., as well as son-in-law Kelly Chapman.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters; Connie Richardson of Pauls Valley, Melinda & husband Orvil Talkington of Pauls Valley and Gay & husband Richard Norton Jr., of Eufala; Son Brandon & wife Amy Mauldin; Grandchildren, Heath & wife Annalissa Richardson, Heather & husband Casey Jones, Matt Talkington, Laura & husband Jason Lee, Hillary & husband Johnny Frost, Jake Chapman, Kevin Mauldin and Will Mauldin as well as 10 great-grandchildren and her sister, Doris Elmore of Lindsay and brother-in-law Cleo & wife Wanda Mauldin and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation for Donna will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025 from 1-5PM at the DeArman Funeral Home Chapel in Wynnewood. Services will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 2PM at the Wynnewood Church of Christ with interment to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood. Curtis Stubblefield officiating.
