Janet Doleski

Janet Doleski, age 84, of Fairview passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family on Monday, December 4, 2023.

She was born on October 25, 1939 in Baird Ford, PA, a daughter of the late Michael McKulen and Anna Evans McKulen Orloff.

She was a 1957 graduate of East High School and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker her entire life.

Janet was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles and traveling. She enjoyed wintering with her husband at their home in Tucson, AZ. She was a member with her family of Lake Shore Country Club for over 25 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Douglas Doleski; two sisters: Nina McKulen and Dorothy Ann Turpin.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, James Doleski; a son, Dr. Kenneth Andrew Doleski and his wife Tracy of Harborcreek; two daughters, Christine Marie Specht and her husband Rev. Mark Specht of Media, PA; Deborah Bindseil and her husband Dr. Richard Bindseil of Longmont, CO; a daughter-in-law, Michele Doleski Nogacek and her husband David of Fairview; a sister, Vera Goluboff of Erie; a sister-in-law, Diane Weber of Fairview; eight grandchildren: Kiera, Amanda, Alex, Oksana, Lars, Sierra, Valeri, and Jordan; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, at West Ridge, 3801 West 26th St. Erie.
