Janet Gallagher Obituary

Born in Penfield, PA, Janet was the daughter of the late George M. And Lydia M. (McLaughlin) Potious. She graduated from Williamsport High School, and worked as a dental assistant for 20 years. Janet loved animals, especially dogs. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband.
Those cherishing Janet's memory are her children, Stephen J. Gallagher, husband of Linda, and Karen A. Richards, wife of Andrew; her grandchildren: Lindsey, William, Colin and Bailey; as well as her great granddaughter, Daisy. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her sisters, Patricia Chambers, and Dawn Barrett.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 12 p.m at Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611. Family and Friends may gather from 11:30 a.m. until the beginning of the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet's honor to the American Cancer Society at www. cancer.org.
Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading, is honored to serve Janet's family. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.

Janet will be missed. She was a wonderful neighbor. She would stop to visit and sit on my bench with her little dog. Many an afternoon would pass by just talking about anything and everything. My prayers are with her family.

Thinking of you Aunt Janet! Praying all will remember just how great you are and how much you cared about everyone.
