Janet C. (nee Glockner), beloved wife of the late Joseph Gallenstein, devoted mother of Joseph Jr. (Mary Ann) Gallenstein, Nancy (David) Peters, Chris (Ron) Stone, Sue (Ken) Ross, Judie (Daniel Schultz) Gallenstein, Steve (Michelle) Gallenstein, Rick Gallenstein, Will Gallenstein, Amy (Craig) Johnson, and Rob Gallenstein.
Loving grandmother of Todd, Kelly, Rob, Matt, Jay, Megan, Jon, Steve, Danny, Tony, Abbey, Jessica, Ben, Claire, Haley, and Alex.
Proud great-grandmother of 22.
Dear sister of the late Ebby, Dave, Bill, Don and Lee Glockner.
Janet had the biggest heart of anyone we knew. She had a special gift of caregiving. Taking care of others all her life, especially her husband, kids, grandkids, and other family members. Her volunteer work at the hospital was very important to her. She was a huge supporter of St. Jude, Smile Train, Matthew 25 Ministries, and many other foundations.
She will be remembered as the "Best Mom/ Grandma ever".
Janet passed away, surrounded by family, on Sunday, August 6th, just two weeks shy of her 98th birthday.
The family will visit with friends on Friday, August 11th from 11AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial, 12Noon, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, where Janet was a lifelong member. 8815 E. Kemper Rd. (45249). Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in Janet's memory may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Smile Train, or the charity of ones' choice.
