Janet S. Hennon

On February 10, 2023, Janet Hennon of Jacksonville, Florida passed away unexpectedly from complications of her cancer diagnosis. She was 53 years old. Janet grew up north of Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from North Allegheny High School (1981) and furthered her education at Penn State University (1991).

She is survived by her best friend and the love of her life, Scott Hennon. They have had an exceptional marriage for 31 years. Janet and Scott enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, vacationing in the Canadian wilderness, attending country music concerts, cheering on the Steelers, and loving many furry friends.

Janet was loved dearly by her three surviving sisters; Barb Thompson (Jeff), Mary Kroll (Dave), and Kim Hennon Puntil (Glenn). She had 12 nieces and nephews whom adored and loved her greatly. She enjoyed spoiling her 9 great-nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Janet's life will be held in her honor at Queen's Harbour Country Club on Thursday, February 16 from 2-4 pm. All are welcome to come and share their memories of Janet. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the following:

Family and friends in Pittsburgh will gather in to celebrate Janet's life on April 22nd. The service will be held at Christ Church at Grove Park in Sewickley, PA at 11 am.
