Janet Link Obituary
Janet was born to John R. and Jean D. Link in Abington Hospital. She lived in Southampton and Churchville, PA throughout her life.
Janet attended elementary, middle, and high school in the Centennial School District. She graduated from West Chester University with a degree in education and continued her studies to earn a Master's degree while teaching. She dedicated her career to working with children, serving as a principal in the Palisades School District for over 20 years, at Durham Nockamixon Elementary and later at Tinicum Elementary. She retired from education in August 2021.
Janet enjoyed several hobbies - crafting, sewing, traveling, and gardening. She was always making items to give to family and friends. She traveled often with her daughter Laurel to Vermont, Illinois, and California along with countless other destinations. After her retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at the Churchville Nature Center and organizing after-school crafting activities. Above all, Janet was a devoted mother to her daughter, Laurel. She nurtured Laurel's passions and dreams, always providing unwavering support and guidance.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, John R. and Jean D. Link. She is survived by her beloved daughter Laurel Gordon (Kaavya Adam); siblings John Link (Barbara), Carol Sharp (Mark), Craig Link (Pamela). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews - Jennifer (Jeremy), J.R. (Will), Andrew (Alanna), Alicia, Amanda, Aidan, Kevin, Liam and Katherine. She is also survived by many grand-nieces and nephews, several aunts, and a large extended family.
Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial visitation at Joseph A Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Rd, Richboro, PA 18954 (at Holland Rd) on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 9:30am until the Celebration of Life Service at 11:30am. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
