Janet is survived by her brother David (Marilyn) Crowther of Ashville, North Carolina. Children; Gilbert (Angie) Lindsay, Jim Lindsay, Jessica McPherson, Christopher (Gail) Lindsay, Sheryl (Curt) Clarno, Tim Logan, Brian (Beth) Logan, Andy (Valarie) Logan, and Brenda Logan. Grandchildren; Melissa (James) Ragen, Kimberly (Joseph) Baker, David Lindsay, Alexander Lindsay, Spencer Lindsay, Jack (Silvia) McPherson IV, Beth (Jesse) Allan, Lindsay McPherson, Christopher Kyle (Laurie) Lindsay, Daniel Lindsay, Andrew Lindsay, Laura Lindsay, Richard Lindsay, Kristal (Anthony) Tinsler, Ashley Milke, Katie (Jerit) Montouri, Timothy (Lindsey) Logan, Laci Logan, Jamie Logan, Kathleen (Eric) Colosky, Austin (Hannah) Logan, John Logan, Andrew "AJ" Logan, Liam Logan and a large group of Great Grandchildren.
She graduated from Edinboro State University with a degree in Education. She spent many years after graduation working in her Head Start classroom. After her career in education, she began work for Lighthouse of Oakland County where she served as an adult care specialist assisting the elderly with day-to-day living.
In retirement she embraced her many talents. A master of many skills is the easiest way to describe her, always sewing, crocheting, knitting, or just doing some sort of craft work.
Friends may visit on Friday, December 20th from 2:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors- Oxford. A prelude at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 on Saturday, December 21. There will be a luncheon following the service at the Oxford American Legion, 130 E. Drahner Rd, Oxford.

To Jan's family and friends, my very sincerest condolences on your and our loss. Jan, after more than 40 years of friendship, I can't believe we won't be having any more lunches and long gab sessions. Besides being my dear Friend, you were one of the kindest, strongest, most compassionate and biggest-hearted woman I've ever known. May your soul go straight to heaven. You are missed!
