Janet Leigh (Shand) Paulson-- Born August 17, 1937 in Manti, Utah; passed away November 16, 2024 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Janet was a warm, stable force for those she loved and we all depended on her. Whether you needed a kind ear, someone to share a laugh or, as she put it, "a soft place to fall" you could count on her to be there for you. Her heart was open to everyone. If you'd just met Janet, you did not stay a stranger for long. She lit up a room with her beautiful smile and zest for living.
She loved to travel and experience many wonderful trips with her dear sisters. She enjoyed entertaining, playing silly games, watching the Utah Jazz and shopping. Mostly, though, she loved bringing joy to her family to which she was devoted above all else.
She married Weber Neal Paulson (later divorced); moved to Salt Lake City and raised two children. She is survived by her children: Leslie Ann Hill (Brian) and Alan Neal Paulson; her siblings: Donald Shand, Jerrie Frank, and Ardith Shand; her grandchildren: Brandon Neal Paulson (Megan), Tony Ralph Paulson (Brittany), and Tazia Paulson (Kaleb); and her great grandchildren: Glen Paulson, Owen Paulson, Peyton Paulson, Avery Paulson, Raidyn Paulson, Kayleigh Robles, Tyarah Robles, and Karter Corbin.
Janet will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Rest in Peace.
