Janet Dale Perry

Dale Gay Perry, 88 of Zebulon, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Franklin County on October 28, 1936, and was one of two children born to the late Russell Dave Gay and Ronna Belle Privette Gay.
Dale and Wayne lived in the community of Pine Ridge. Dale was a lifetime member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She took pride in her cooking and gardening and was known for her blueberries and for sharing them with cherished friends and neighbors. She will be remembered for her kind and loving personality and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Wayne; two sons: Jeffrey Wayne, wife Fran, and their son, Matt, and Rodney Ivan Perry; her sister, Judy Spruill of Roper; her sister-in-law, Pat Tolley, husband Avery Tolley of Raleigh; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 874 Pine Ridge Road, Zebulon. Entombment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends and family in the church fellowship hall immediately following the graveside service.
