It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Janet Elizabeth Robison of Spring, who entered eternal rest on August 30, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born in Lovelady, TX on January 5, 1946, to the late Hollis and Eunice Moore.
Janet grew up in Lovelady and attended Lovelady High School before moving to Houston. She lived a life full of love, hard work, and devotion to her family. She was a proud mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Janet is survived by her children, Rhondalyn Riley and Cole Robison of Spring; grandchildren, Jacob Riley and Hannah Riley of Spring, and Walker Robison and Truman Robison of Crockett. She is also survived by her loving sister, Nelda Moore of Lovelady. She was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Guy Gene Rains, Hollis Moore; sisters, Bonnie Sauers and Nanette Vondra.
A true matriarch, Janet, built a legacy as a dedicated businesswoman, owning and operating multiple family businesses. Later in life, she found joy in supporting her children with their own ventures, always lending her wisdom and strength to help them succeed.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, she will be remembered for her love of cooking, fishing, and spending time with her family. Janet was filled with warmth and laughter, and she showed her love by cooking a favorite meal that brought everyone together.
Her legacy of resilience, generosity, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
