Janet Swauger Obituary

Born November 13, 1946, in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Clifford Gene and Mandella Viola (Robinette) Crippen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Ellen Crippen.
Janet was a 1964 graduate of Allegany High School.
Most importantly, Janet was a foster parent who truly loved helping children and their families.
She leaves behind her husband, Randy C. Swauger; four children, Cathy Padilla and husband, Joaquin, Waynesboro, PA, Kayla Swauger, Frostburg, Angela Swauger, Bentonville, AR, and Charles Swauger, at home; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emily, and Matthew Padilla; brother, James Crippen, Cresaptown; sister, Cynthia Henry and husband, Wes, Yellow Springs, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, Janet will be cremated, and there will be no formal services.
