Janet Sue Taylor

Janet Sue Taylor (McMinn), 53, passed away at her home in Bonham, on April 27, 2025, after a brief struggle with health complications.
Janet Sue Taylor was born on February 10, 1972, in Irving, Texas, the daughter of Kenneth Ray McMinn and Dorothy Mae Presley.
They moved to Ivanhoe, Texas when she was 2 years old. She married Terry Taylor on October 10,1997. During their marriage they often liked to go out on the town dancing. She had an extraordinary way with plants, turning every space she touched into a thriving garden. Rainy day naps were something Janet really enjoyed. She was a loving wife, mother and Gram Gram.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Dorothy McMinn, her son Jonathan Ryan Barrow, stepson Kelly Taylor, her brother Kenneth (Kenny) Ray McMinn Jr. and her sister Tammy Champ.
Janet is survived by her husband Terry Taylor, her children Jacquie Barker and husband Hunter, Jacob Taylor and wife Jasmine, and Joshua Taylor as well as four grandchildren, Elena, Hudson, Haylee and Emberlynn, along with nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She will be missed by all that knew her.
A Graveside service will be held at Gum Spring Cemetery Thursday May 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
