Ms. Janice Wilcox Bracey of Rowland, NC was born on February 9, 1941 to the late Isley and Pearl Lamb Wilcox and departed this life on Saturday, May 10, 2025 completing her journey of 84 years.
On addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband: Gilbert Bracey; four brothers: Howell Lynn Wilcox, Ellis Wilcox, Howard Wilcox and David Wilcox; one sister: Pearl Marie Barkley.
In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking. She was a devoted family provider and enjoyed helping others. Janice was a member of Ashpole Presbyterian Church for Forty plus years. She truly loved the Lord.
Janice is survived by her two sons: Donald Wayne Bissell of Winston Salem and William Isley Bissell of Florence, SC; one step-daughter: Angie Sports and her husband Jim of Dillon, SC; one brother: George Isley Wilcox and his wife Joyce of Lumberton, NC; two grandchildren: Nikki Keating and her husband Kyle of Lumberton and Carter Bissell of Myrtle Beach, SC; two great-grandchildren: Harrison and Molly; a childhood friend since the seventh grade: Beverly Hines of Pinehurst, a lifetime friend that she grew up with: Geraldine Halliburton of Lumberton; her dear friend and neighbor: Milla Grey Leggette of Rowland; two friends Natasha Ball and Joyce Price of Dillon SC as well as several other nieces and nephews that she loved.
