Janice Bradway Obituary

Jan was born on March 19,1938 in Jamestown NY and graduated from Corry High School, Corry, PA. She met the love of her life Stanley Bradway at the local roller-skating rink and they were married on December 1, 1956. Stanley preceded her in death on October 3, 2019.
Jan is survived by her four loving daughters, Debra Merryman, Teresa (Dale) Braughler, Tammy (Tim) Osborne and Lori (Jeb) Bowen. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by one twin brother, Rich (Katy) Hosier; one sister, Dot (Rodney) Fargo; one sister-in-law, Lorraine Laney; and many nieces and nephews.
Jan enjoyed the outdoors with her husband, rather it be tending the church landscape or keeping up a pristine lawn at their home. Along with being active in their church, Jan and Stan enjoyed many hobbies together including: camping, boating, snow skiing, waterskiing, square dancing and four-wheeling. She enjoyed cooking and was a phenomenal baker. Family and friends looked forward to her homemade sweet rolls and Christmas cookie trays every year (35 di erent kinds).
Always inspirational, loving and giving, Jan's love for Jesus shined through for all to see. One favorite verse was Proverbs 3:5&6. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. She has left a legacy that will always live on.
The family would like to thank the staffs of Fairview Manor and Brevillier Village for the love and care given to Jan.
Family and friends are invited to attend an open house celebration honoring Janice, on August 30, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the home of Lori and Jeb Bowen, 1055 Boyer Road, Erie PA, 16511. Come and enjoy her most famous baked goods. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org or to the Ruth Pedersen Benevolent Care Fund, c/o Brevillier Village, 5416 East Lake Road, Erie, PA 16511.
Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. Condolences may be sent to www.dusckasfuneralhomes.com.

I´m just seeing this. I´m blessed to know Tammy & Lori. And I truly mean BLESSED. Although I´ve never met this lovely lady I´ve heard from Tammy & Lori how absolutely wonderful their parents are.
