Massena: the family of Janice M. Neault Carroll, age 77, are saddened to announce her untimely passing at North Country Nursing & Rehabilitation in Massena on Sunday, August 4, 2024. The family has entrusted arrangements to the care and direction of the Phillips Memorial Home in Massena.
Janice was born on June 23rd, 1947, in Massena, NY to the late Joseph and Betsy (Besio) Neault.
She attended schools in Massena graduating in 1968. She started work ALCOA for a short time, later working at the Massena New Channels. Janice moved to Virginia and began her career at QVC where she was employed for over 20 years, returning back home to the North Country to take care of her mother.
Janice is survived by her devoted children, Scott Hilyard of Louisville, Susanne and John Packard of Virginia Beach, VA, and Michael Hilyard of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren; Taylor and Carter Hilyard, Breanna Allred, Aiden and Allison Packard, Kassandra Hilyard, and Joshua Hilyard along with her great-grandchildren, Joanna Allred and Dax Hilyard. She is also survived by her siblings, Joseph and Sharon Neault of Brasher, NY, and a nice Melissa Neault.
In addition to her parents, Janice was predeceased by a nephew Christopher Neault.
Memorial contribution may be shared with the North Country Nursing & Rehabilitation Activity Fund; 182 Highland Road, Massena, New York 13662.
The family would like to personally thank the staff and nurses for their attention and care during her time at the nursing home.
There will be no public calling hours or funeral services at this time.
