She was born August 27, 1947 in Fordland, Missouri the daughter of the late Fred and Mildred (Moore) Dalton. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Emery and Jerry Dalton.
Janice worked as an operator and accountant with Southwestern Bell and A.T.&T. for over 30 years before her retirement in 2009. She was a 1965 graduate of Fordland High School and enjoyed cake decorating and being with her two dogs, Brigette and Brittany.
She is survived by three nephews, Mark, Lee, and James Dalton; a niece, Angela Needham, a sister-in-law, Barbara Dalton, six great-nieces and nephews, Caiden, Kennedy, Jacob, Ashlynn, Kim, and Kylie; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025 at J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home with a graveside service following at 12:30 p.m. at West Finley Cemetery, south of Fordland.
