Janice L. Kosh (Fuller), affectionately known as Jan to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2024, at the Hancock Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Quincy. Born in Norwood, MA, Jan lived a full and vibrant life marked by dedication to her family, her work, and her passions. She leaves behind a legacy of love and selflessness that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Jan was the beloved wife of Robert J. Kosh, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and unwavering partnership. She was a nurturing mother to Lloyd Kosh of Boston, Robert Kosh and his wife Tina of Canton, and Richard Kosh and his partner Maureen of Raynham. Jan's role as a devoted grandmother to Benjamin, Robert, Krystal, Kalyn, Hailey, and Alyssa was one of her greatest joys. Her guidance and warmth helped shape their lives, and her presence will be profoundly missed. Great grandmother of Jackson, Emma, Dominic, and Ava.
Raised in Canton, Jan was a proud alumna of Canton High School, where she formed many lifelong friendships. Her education there served as the foundation for a successful career. Jan worked diligently for Foxboro Federal Savings & Loan for over two decades, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues. Her professionalism and integrity left a lasting impact on the institution and those she worked with.
Throughout her life, Jan's interests and hobbies brought her much happiness and fulfillment. She was an avid quilter, creating beautiful works of art that were expressions of her love and creativity. Her garden was a testament to her patience and care, and she found solace in tending to her plants and flowers. Jan's love for her grandchildren was evident in the time she devoted to them, whether it was attending their events or simply enjoying their company.
Jan was also a proud member of the Red Hatters, where she enjoyed the camaraderie and adventures with other women who shared her zest for life. After retiring, Jan and her husband Robert embarked on a new chapter in Hudson, Florida, where they relished in the warmth and community. Their return to Bridgewater a year ago brought them closer to family and friends, which was of great comfort to Jan in her final days.
Those who knew Jan would describe her as loving, thoughtful, and selfless. She approached every aspect of her life with a kind heart and an open mind. Jan's ability to listen, support, and care for others was unparalleled, and her impact on her family and community cannot be overstated.
Jan's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Her life was a beautiful tapestry of commitment to her loved ones, service to her community, and a celebration of the things that brought her joy. Janice L. Kosh will be remembered not only for the life she lived but for the love she gave freely and without reservation.

Funeral Service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday morning at 11:00 am. Visiting hours Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial will be private.
