Janice C. Rittmaier, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and treasured member of her community, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on February 20, 1933, she graduated from Washington High School, where she first exhibited her spirited personality and her unwavering love for friends and family.
Janice's life was a testament to her devotion to those she loved. She cherished her family deeply, and this love was evident in every aspect of her life. Janice is survived by her son, Tom (Lynn Dickenson) Rittmaier; daughter, Paula (Steve) Corbin; and son, Jeff (Connie) Rittmaier. She took immense pride in her grandchildren, Nicole (Stephen Lukin) Rittmaier, Andrew (Breanna) Rittmaier, Brian (Katy Breland) Corbin, Chad Corbin, Mitchell Rittmaier, and Carson Rittmaier. Her heart swelled with joy at the sight of her great-granddaughters, Avery, Santanna, and Navy Roux, who brought light into her later years.
Janice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul L. Rittmaier; her father, Harold J. McAllister; her mother, Olive S. McAllister; and her best friend, Jean Ilg. Their lasting memories continued to flourish in the hearts of those who knew her, as she always spoke fondly of them.
Janice C. Rittmaier will be remembered not only for her devotion to family and friends but for her warm spirit and kind heart that touched the lives of many around her. Her legacy of love will remain a beacon of light for those she leaves behind.
