Obituary of Janice M Spillman
Janice Spillman "Jan" (nee Zenk) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday January 7, 2024 at the age of 82. She is gone to be together once again with the love of her life Nick.
Born in Waukesha on July 19, 1941, to Edward and Lucille Zenk (nee Nettesheim), Jan embraced life with a passion for the color pink, a green thumb for gardening, and an unwavering love for her family. Her quick wit brought joy to those around her and will be deeply missed.
Jan is survived by her loving children Debbie (Kent Schmidt) Spillman and Glen (Tina) Spillman, grandchildren Marissa (Matt), Mitchell (Maggie), and Blake, as well as siblings Ruth Clayton, Pat (Bob) Jorgensen, Randy (Susie) Zenk, Joan (George) Rychlock, and Ron (Tonja) Zenk. She will also be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
Jan was preceded in death by her beloved Nick, parents Edward and Lucille, and brother Tony Zenk.
A visitation to celebrate Jan's life will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the start of services at 12:00 p.m. at Cesarz Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188. All guests are welcome to wear pink in honor of Jan's memory.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the amazing care team at Heritage Senior Living in Hartland and Brighton Hospice for their compassion and support.
In the words of Jan, "LOVE YOU MORE."

I had the pleasure of getting to know Jan - she was the person that could bring a smile to my face even on my worst days. She always kept me on my toes.. and she helped me never take things too seriously. She will forever be missed and remembered and cherished. Sending all my love to her family during this time.
