Janie graduated from Byars-Hall High School in Covington, TN. She worked as an administrative assistant at International Paper for over 15 years.
She was a long-time member of Union Ave. Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. To everyone who knew her, Janie was a kind, giving, caring human being. Her love for everyone was unconditional. Faith and family were most important to her. Janie will be deeply missed.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 1pm at Charleston Cemetery.
