Janine H. (Hutchings) Fiers, age 73, longtime resident of Seabrook, NH, passed Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Care One at Peabody, surrounded by her family, after a period of declining health. Janine and her husband, Robert “Bob” Fiers, were each others best friends and soul mates throughout their life.
Born in Gloucester, January 13, 1952, she was one of six children of the late Willis and Dorothy (Troy) Hutchings, and was a graduate of Gloucester High School.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, who loved her family dearly. With the onset of her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, she treasured every moment with them. They were her pride and joy.
For many years Janine was a school bus driver for several different school districts.
Janine leaves behind treasured memories that will be cherished forever by her husband, Bob; her three sons, James Fiers and wife Kellie, Scott Fiers and Jason Fiers and wife Jennifer; her six grandchildren, Jimmy, Aidan, Patrick, Jason Jr., Rowan and Jack; two great-grandsons, Oliver and Lucas; two sisters, Darlene and Gerri; a brother, Gary, along with several generations of nieces and nephews, and extended families. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by two sisters, Denise and Sherry.
By request of the family, there will be no services. Funeral arrangements were made by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA 01913.
