Janis Ann Golter was born to Art and Ann Golter October 23, 1952 a twin at Orchard, Nebraska and passed away on January 5, 2026 at Acera Care in O'Neill, Nebraska at the age of 73 after a courageous battle of Parkinson.
Janis went to grade school at Venus Nebraska and graduated from Osmond High School in 1971. She was confirmed Lutheran. Went to Northeast College, UNL, Wayne State College and became a behavioral counselor. Worked at Region 4, Goodwill, State of Colorado. She moved back from Carbondale Colorado to help run the Royal Bar and take care of her mother ailing from Parkinson. She loved taking care of the animals on the ranch.
She is survived by her twin brother, William (Deb) Golte, Alan Golter, Greg Golter, and many nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death by her parents, Art and Ann (Faulhaber) Golter; uncle Paul Golter; grandparents, Gus and Elisa Golter; Clarence and Evenlyn Faulhaber.
It was Janis' wish that no service be held. There will be a private burial at a later date. Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Orchard are handling the arrangements.
