Loving son and brother
WATERBURY – Jared Zuraitis, age 31, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Saint Mary's Hospital.
Jared was born April 3, 1991, in Waterbury, CT, the son of Donna (Carnright) Zuraitis and the late Edward Zuraitis Jr. He was educated in local schools and held various warehouse worker positions throughout the area including, Bozzutto's Inc and Macy's. More recently, Jared was working as a line cook for the 99 Restaurant. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and was always happiest while spending time with his family. Jared was a kind and gentle man who will live on in the memories of all the people he loved and who loved him.
Left to honor his legacy and treasure his memory are his mother, Donna Zuraitis of Waterbury, his daughter, Amelia Rose Zuraitis of Cypress, TX, and his brother, Tyler Zuraitis of Waterbury, his aunt, Vicki Carnright of Waterbury, and his Great Aunt, Fern Summa and her husband Charles of Cypress, TX. He also leaves several other extended family members as well as many friends,
Funeral services for Mr. Zuraitis will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mary Mother of the Church Parish, Saints Peter and Paul Church, in Waterbury. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of his family. Relatives and friends may visit with the Zuraitis family on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St., Waterbury, CT from 9:00 am until leaving for the Mass at 10:30. Loving-kindness is always welcome, and it only takes a moment to offer a message of condolence, words of comfort, or share a memory with the family and friends of someone important to you.
