Jason Michael Goers, 37, of Knox, IN, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
Jason was born on August 3, 1987, in South Bend, IN, to Jacqueline (Griffin) Davis and Jeffery Goers.
Surviving Jason are his mother, Jacqueline (Paul) Davis of Knox; brother, Nicholas (Amanda) Davis of Knox; grandfather, Charles Griffin, Sr. of Mishawaka; aunts, Ginger (Ron) Green of Mishawaka, Theresa (Mark) Griffin of La Porte, Penny Griffin of Michigan City, and Sally (Mike) Fraze of La Porte; uncles, Charles Griffin, Jr. of Mishawaka, Edward (LaShonda) Ginther of Mishawaka, Marty Davis of Knox, Jeff (Wilma) Davis of Knox, David Connett of Fish Lake, and Andrew Bozek of Rochelle, IL; niece, Savannah Davis of Knox; dogs, Hannah, Buster, George, and Emily; as well as many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank (Edith) Davis and Barbara Griffin; and aunts, Sherry Connett, Mary Ginther, and Deby Bozek.
Jason enjoyed Pokémon and loved watching cartoons, with Sonic the Hedgehog being his favorite. He dearly loved his dogs.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
