Jason Stuart Henry

Jason Stuart Henry passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 51.
Jason was born to Susan (Daniels) Henry and the late Donald Henry on January 25, 1972. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jordan Henry.
Jason was a proud father and was active in both kids' activities. He was especially proud of Eva's work ethic and dedication to her karate endeavors. Eva recently earned her Black Belt, and she continues to help others interested in karate. Likewise, Jason was extremely influential in teaching the game of baseball to Eli and often could be found attending Eli's baseball games and working with Eli as he continued to improve and focus on the game that both he and Jason loved.
Jason was a skilled chef and proprietor of the Grove Deli. As a small business owner, he gave back to the Webster Groves community in many ways. He always had a funny story or quip to share with his patrons as he crafted food and availed his restaurant to the people of Webster Groves. Jason played baseball at Missouri Baptist College after High School (graduate of Rolla High School –Class of 1990). He furthered his education at the University of Missouri – Columbia and was active in the Columbia food scene during the mid-90's as he worked in several popular Columbia restaurants and bars. Jason was a positive influence on his brother, Jeremy, during Jeremy's time in Columbia. Jason influenced his younger brother, Jordan, to enter the restaurant business and the two often collaborated on ideas to better serve their respective patrons. Further, Jason was a great son to Don and Susan. Jason shared his family with Don and Susan and truly anchored the family with his presence. Jason was a friend to all and focused his energy to better his family and community through hard work and dedication.
Jason will be deeply missed by his surviving family which includes: his mother, Susan (Daniels) Henry of Vichy, MO; his son Elijah Austin Henry of Webster Grove, MO; his daughter Eva Grace Henry of Webster Grove, MO; his brother Jeremy Henry and wife Linsey Henry of Lee's Summit, MO; several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A memorial service for Jason Stuart Henry will be conducted on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at 2pm at the Null and Son Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 1pm.
Memorial contributions are suggested to an education fund at Phelps County Bank for Jason's Children.
