Jason Ray Manning AKA Petey Muggin, Gordy Norman, J, Manning, was born on April 25, 1980, to Vicki Lynn Manning and Billy Ray Manning and was the proud "Girl Dad" to Presley Lynn Manning and "Dog Dad" to Luna. Besides his parents and daughter, Jason is survived by his KK and his crew of siblings, William Conner; Billy Ray Manning Jr.; Lisa Manning Ort (Rickey); Glenda Luman (Jeremy); Molly Manning Carter (Chris); Madison Manning.
Jason enlisted into the United States Navy during high school. After graduating from Scott High School, he went on to serve as a United States Navy SeaBee. And even though he has struggled with the aftermath of his "dream" career, he was very proud to have served. Jason was a jack of all trades and loved being able to experience things in life that some folks only dream of. His passport was full and so was his heart. Jason had the incredible ability to tell the best stories at the perfect moment. He had so many talents. He could go from rapping free style to country slang at the drop of a dime. He enjoyed many things in life, cold cokes, Jägermeister, and his mom's ribs. He despised hamburger helper and mice. But his greatest enjoyment in life was being Dad to his daughter Presley.
Jason has several aunts and uncles, tons of cousins, and many, many friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Wanda & Russell Manning and Carol & James Donald Rice.
He loved his family and friends and cherished each one. Jason was the kindest and most giving person and never met a stranger.
He recently was trying to comfort a friend with these words of encouragement; "Have you ever given it a thought, that just maybe the ones who pass on early are the lucky ones."
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023, starting at 5:00 p.m. with military honors at 5:30 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park 3227 Dixie Highway in Erlanger, Kentucky.
By the request of his daughter, please wear happy colored clothing, no black.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to / volunteer to the Wounded Warriors Project which was near to his heart.
Care Cremation and Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with final care.

Not a day passes that I don´t think of you. I sit right here in my bed next to almost every physical memorabilia I have left of you.
I finally got dad back up here. He talks about you every day I´m there. I hope all the things they say about heaven are true. I hope you´re the first person that greets me when my time is up. Love you always. Your forever baby sis

I was in Paducah for all of 10 mins and noticed this on dad´s dresser right in front of his bed. I snapped a pic. I think you´re next to all of us as we sleep.
I did Presley´s lashes for prom the same day I went to dad´s. Then Easter, now here comes your birthday.
Then Glenda´s. Then Father´s Day.
And all the same, you´re in a photo next to me as I sleep. You´re on my rear view mirror as I drive. And you´re in my thoughts almost daily.
Missing you for this long, and forever to go.

My first memory of my brother Jason is being his waitress while him and his friends played basketball outside of our shared home in Florida.
He would say.. "Molly bop!! Please bring us another pop!" With all the rhymes and rhythms. Tomorrow is a 1 year anniversary of his passing. And I cannot get him off my mind.
