my name is Greg McLaughlin and I was a childhood friend of Jason`s. We used to play an entire two person football game in this side yard at his house in Maryville, Missouri. He would end up going so much farther than me in football, but it didn´t matter at the time because he had such a joy for the game. One time when we were 10 we were in the middle of the game and he got hungry and went into the house to get something to eat. He just scooped out a spoonful after spoonful of peanut butter and gulped it down. One of them got stuck, and I had to give them the Heimlich maneuver. I´m A
minute later we were out playing football again. I can´t remember a mean bone in his body and even at 10 he did everything with such heart. I´m very sad for his passing. A light is out in this world.

My heart is absolutely broken for his 3 beautiful daughters. May his soul rest in peace and may they find comfort knowing how many people love and cherish them.

We worked together at Schuyler. Jason was well liked by students, staff and faculty. My prayers are with his daughters, family, and students and faculty at previous schools and Milan.
