Jason Grant Snider, 49, of Terre Haute, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born October 2, 1974, in Greencastle, Indiana, the son of Halbert C. Snider Jr. and Melody Jo Paris Snider.
Jason served in the U.S. Navy. He learned his Christian values from attending church with his grandparents.
Jason is survived by his Father, Halbert C. Snider Jr. (Linda) of Greencastle; 2 sons, Shay Arrell and Travis Arrell of Pennsylvania; granddaughter, Sierra Jordan Santone; brother, Matthew Snider and niece, Olivia Snider of Traverse City, Michigan; and stepbrothers, Garin Sparks of Louisiana, and Andy Sparks of Colorado. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Melody Jo Snider, and grandparents, Bobbie, and Mary Bernice Snider.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, 111 East High Street, Rockville, Indiana. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Brick Chapel Cemetery, 3547 N U.S. Highway 231, Greencastle, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the funeral home to assist with arrangements.
