Jason Terry Obituary
Memorial service for Jason Terry, age 50 of Cumby, Texas will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at First Church UPC. Mr. Terry passed away on May 31, 2023.
Jason was born on September 13, 1973 in Paris, Texas to A.G. Terry Jr and Rose (Howse) Smith. He married Crystal Riley on July 17, 2015 in Emerson, Arkansas. Jason was a certified water operator for the city of Texarkana for many years. He was a member of the First Church UPC.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal; daughters; Jalie Terry and Summer Owens and husband, Trey; son, Zachary Terry; mother, Rose Smith; sister Janita Taylor and husband, Charles; brother, Kevin Terry, brother; Mike Smith; brother, Brad Smith; sister, Melinda Stclair, nieces and nephews, Laci Fletcher, Andrew Terry and Lauren Ellis; house of nieces and nephews who called him Unc. Mother-in-law who lovingly referred to him as “the water commissioner.”
Jason was preceded in death by his father, A.G and step father, Bobby Smith.
Memorials may be made to the building fund at First Church UPC – 415 Airport Road Sulphur Springs, Texas 75482.
