Jasper Lee Jessie, age 32, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. He was born in Louisville on Thursday, October 1, 1992, to Barbara Jessie Hancock and Jeff Embrey.
He was preceded in death by his grandma, Conda Jessie and his sister, Angel Jessie.
Jasper was a loving son and brother. He enjoyed fishing and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats. He had a big heart and was a loving generous soul that will be deeply missed.
He leaves behind his mom, Barbara Jessie Hancock; dad, Jeff Embrey; brother, Cory Jessie (Patricia); sister, Devin Jessie (Corey); papaw, Mike Jessie (Heather); "Unk", Joe Jessie (Courtney); nieces and nephews, Ella, Harley, Austin, Joseph, Daisey, Danielle, Asher, Stone, Dalton and Landon along with a host of dear family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 am on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville, with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday from 2 pm until 8 pm and on Tuesday, from 9 am until the time of service at 11am.
