Javier Maltos-Samano, born on October 7, 1975, in Michoacan, Mexico, passed away peacefully of natural causes on August 22, 2025, in Statesville, NC, at the age of 49. Javier's life journey was one marked by hard work, devotion to family, and a steadfast faith.
As a dedicated landscaper, Javier poured his heart into cultivating beauty and life around him. His love for trucks and deep commitment to his family were hallmarks of his character, reflecting a man who valued both the simple and profound joys of life.
A member of the Catholic faith, Javier's spiritual commitment was the compass that guided his life, offering strength and solace not only in times of trial but also in the joyful moments he shared with his loved ones.
Javier is preceded in death by his parents, Javier Maltos and Obdulia Samano, and his brother, Rueben Samano. He leaves behind a family bound together by love and memories: his brother Crecenciano Maltos; his sister Elvia Maltos and her husband Jorge Reyes; his sisters Adelina, Dolores, Delia, and Nabor Maltos; his cousin Ahuriel Reyes; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will continue to cherish his memory.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a viewing and visitation at Nicholson Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 5-8 PM. In gathering to honor Javier's life, may we all find inspiration in the simplicity, love, and faith that he so effortlessly embodied.
