Jay Daniels Obituary
Jay was a member of the Fairmount American Legion Post #313, he was an a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed, softball, football, basketball, and ping pong. He loved gardening, raising sunflowers, hunting and fishing. He was a collector of classic items and an avid Jeff Gordon fan.
Jay is survived by his mother, Sandra Mae (Hoffman) Dickinson, longtime companion, Laura Roy, and daughters, Jamie Morrison, Alexandria Daniels, and Kylie Daniels. Brother, Richard Daniels, Step-sisters, Cheryl (Sandy) Davis and Melissa (Ben) Taylor. Three granddaughters, Ryleigh, Addilynn, and Emerson. Three nieces, one great niece, and pet companion beagle, Boscoe.
He is preceded in death by his Father Charles Dickinson, Grandparents, John J. "Buzz" and Ruth Hoffman, Grandmother, Virginia "G.G." Yates.
Jay's Life Celebration will be Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN beginning 1-3 PM with a celebration service at 3:00 PM officiated by Pastor Teddy Payne, at Jay's request cremation will follow his service.
