Jayme Christopher Saunders

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jayme Christopher Saunders, who left this world peacefully in his sleep on January 9, 2026, at the age of 43. He was deeply loved by everyone who knew him and will be missed beyond words.

Jayme was the kindest soul, someone who gave love freely, asked for little in return, and made the world brighter simply by being in it. He had a natural ability to make people feel seen and valued on so many levels. To know him was to love him.

He was born February 22, 1982, in San Antonio, Texas. Throughout his life, he touched countless hearts through his compassion, kindness, and quiet strength. Whether with family, friends, or strangers, Jayme navigated this world with empathy and grace.

Though his time here was far too short, his impact was immeasurable. The love he gave and kindness he showed will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. The world is undeniably dimmer without him, but better for having had him in it.

A celebration of Jayme's life will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, beginning at 5:00 PM at the Whiskey Bar & Grill, 1535 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, LA 70005.
