Jean Roberts Boyles, age 88, of Anderson, SC, loving wife to the late Bobby Joe Boyles, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at NHC Healthcare Anderson.
Born January 29, 1934, in Belton, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Willie Roberts and Letty O'Bryant Roberts.
Jean retired from Belk Department Store and taught children's Sunday School Class for 16 years. She was a member of Belton Pentecostal Holiness but was attending Belton Church of God prior to her passing.
She is survived by her son, Rev. Joel K. Boyles (Linda) of Taylors, SC; daughter, Leibeth Ford (Neil) of Williamston, SC; sister, Clara Alewine (Steele) of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Taylor Gas (Michal) of Lewisville, NC, and Jacob and Sidney Ford, both of Williamston, SC; and great-grandchildren, Emery Orrell and Ezra Gas.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Evelyn Harrison and Charlotte Cole.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Black and Rev. Joel K. Boyles officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Belton Church of God, P.O. Box 642, Belton, SC 29627.
