Jean Dolde, 95, of Phillips, WI, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2023. She was born and raised in Mishawaka, Indiana. Jean was born on August 16, 1928, to George and Sophia (Barth) Roggemann. She met the love of her life, Frank Daniel (better known as Dan) Dolde and they married don February 6, 1954. They moved from South Bend, IN, to West Bend, WI, in 1955.
Jean loved sports. She loved to bowl, golf, and just horse around paying basketball, softball, etc. Jean and Dan were members at Hon-E-Kor Golf & Country Club in Kewaskum for many years. Over the years, they loved to travel, visiting all 50 states. After her husband retired, they spent a few months in the winter in Golf Shores, AL. They loved going on bus trips, going to the casino and dog tracks. Jean loved watching the Packers, Badgers, and Notre Dame football games. She enjoyed going to rides with Nancy and Don in the UTV and joking around with her family and friends. Outside of being a wonderful homemaker, Jean worked part time at the Paper Tree, a Hallmark Store.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Don) Ihlenfeld; sister, Georgie Gierkey; sister-in-law, Rochelle Dolde; nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband; son, Jeff; parents; mother and father-in-law, Frank and Martha; sister, Virginia; brother-in-law, Bill; and sister-in-law, Mary.
The family would like to thank the staff (Debbie, Robin, and all the others) at Aspirus Duroy Terrance that took such good care of her while she lived there the last four and a half years.
Per her wishes, no formal services will be held. Inurnment will take place in Washington County Memorial Park with her husband and son. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
